We have control over things that we manage ourselves, and one such example is time. Can anyone else manage our time better than us? We often hear the phrase, "It's your time, learn to manage it," because it emphasizes the importance of taking control of our lives. By being conscious of how we utilize our time, we can have a greater influence on our lifestyle. By putting consciousness, we can break free from autopilot mode and gain full control over our lives.

Waste generation is a universal issue. However, expecting everyone to achieve a zero-waste lifestyle is impractical, both for the masses and for a nation's economy. Nonetheless, the waste problem doesn't require everyone to become zero-waste champions 🏆. It simply demands us to waste consciously. Throughout our lives, we have cultivated a culture of use-and-throw, which has made us oblivious to the consequences of our consumption. When we purchase a bag of chips, we focus solely on what’s inside, ignoring the fate of the empty packet. This mindset not only contributes to growing waste piles but also fosters a self-centered nature detrimental to societal progress.

Consciously wasting is a crucial initial step toward solving the waste crisis. It raises awareness of our wasteful tendencies and prompts us to examine the flaws in our behavior. As our awareness grows, we begin to notice the magnitude of waste we have been producing unconsciously. This heightened awareness is of utmost importance and doesn't require any sophisticated AI tools. It only needs your consciousness to be available whenever you throw something in a dustbin. As a practice, try mentally acknowledging each time you discard something: "I am throwing this away". You will gradually observe how this simple habit induces a positive change in your wasteful behavior. Furthermore, this practice could become your first step towards developing selflessness into your character, as each time you acknowledge your actions, you make a small contribution that the Earth appreciates.

In conclusion, taking control of our lives starts with managing our time and extends to various aspects such as waste management. By being conscious of our actions, we become aware of our shortcomings and pave the way for improvement. Waste management requires a shift from a culture of thoughtless consumption to one of conscious disposal. By recognizing the impact of our choices, we can foster a selfless nature that benefits not only ourselves but also society and the environment. So, let us embrace conscious waste disposal and be mindful of the waste we generate, for the Earth and future generations.
